Great staff. Costs money though.
Dr. Overmyer is a very caring vet. When I had a very sick cat, and years later, a very sick dog, he came to my home to "put them to sleep" so I wouldn't have to put them through the trauma of taking them to the vet. He's very quick to respond to lab results, and is willing to take on last minute visits...I couldn't ask for a better vet!
Cannot say enough about Dr. Overmeyer and his staff. Each and every time I am there with my pet, they treat me with the utmost respect, care and compassion for my pet. Samba is not the easiest cat to take care of when at the vet, but they are amazing each time with him. I cannot thank them enough.
Dr. Overmeyer has been my vet healthcare advocate for 5 of my animals. Not to mention the compassion that you would expect in a Doctor, he and his staff have always treated my animals with warmth and understanding. He has always grounded me in the reality of options we are seeking in trying to keep our animals who were in crisis with regard to cost and to stress on the animal. Most importantly he has helped us when it is time to let go. This is a wonderful Doctor and staff.
Our dog was stung by a bee and our vet sent us to Dr. Overmeyer because he was out of the office and not close by. Our vet called to let them know we were coming and what was going on. When we arrived the dog was incoherent, her lips were gray and we had to carry her inside, not an easy task when she weighed 60lbs. They put us in the room and left us there for more than 30 minutes before the Dr. bothered to come in. She was in anaphylactic shock. Luckily she didn't die before he came in the room. He knew we were on the way with a true emergency and he couldn't have cared less. I would never go here again and would not recommend them at all. When the tech saw the condition of our dog she should have alerted the Dr. that it was a true emergency.
