Love to walk around the lake. However, goose feces is absolutely disgusting. It is EVERYWHERE. No one cleans it from the blacktop path.

We live within walking distance, it's a great park. Plenty of kids playscapes, swings, slides. You can hang on the beach and swim, or rent row boats per hour. They have large rooms available for rent for parties and the like. You are also able to use several of the charcoal grills found around multiple park picnic tables. Toledo park system has labeled much of the flora and also created butterfly friendly sections that always seem to have some type of butterflies about. Plenty of ducks and geese and if you have a license, you can fish from the boats or the shore. One of the nicest parks I've been to.

Olander no longer charges non-residents for parking. It's an excellent place for pokemon go, fishing, boating (they have rentals), walking, grilling out, and comes with a playground. Awkwardly, the boathouse is located up front while the playground is at back, giving you a mile walk between the two, and not much in between. Luckily, the lake is encircled by both walking and driving path, shaded with mature trees.

Huge disappointment. I remember coming to Olander as a kid and it was exciting. Today, I brought my toddler, who enjoyed the playground(s) for $5. The park was full of kids and dogs (pets not allowed) that had hopped the fence. The swimming area is not open. The booth attendee does not have maps, or information on the park system. Overall the grounds of the park are okay but not an experience worth paying for.

So easy to work with. The hall was perfect for our reunion and at the right price too.

Dogs are not allowed in park.
